My thoughts about skin aging

Growing old is a natural process in human being but for me it is about aging gracefully. In my 30s I can see that my face  now is very much different while I was in my twenties. Though the aging process is not that fast but I already see some small changes that I already aged. I always see to it that I have balance meal--fruits, vegetables and drink lots of water to hydrate the skin. I can also see some spotty pigmentation and fine lines near the eyes so I use  daily moisturizer with sun protection factor. Stress is inevitable but I try as much as I can to stay away and balance life so that I will age the way I wanted it to be.

Stressful Day

I am already feeling so stressed today because aside from the demands of the office work I still have to attend to my evening class at seven thirty which is just two hours after my office work off.  I can feel that my eyes are straining and my neck is having some muscular pains connecting to the shoulders and lower back. This so hard for me because of the many demands most especially in my class where the examination finals is fast approaching in the next two weeks.  I hope I can handle all of these and I should take each work one at a time.

Cotton buds' Necessity

I am very particular of my personal hygiene. For me this is part of being caring and giving priority to oneself. I always use these cotton buds every morning after taking a bath. It has so may uses like ear cleaning, nose cleaning, make up applicator and more. I see to it that everybody at home can have easy access to get the cotton buds in the cabinet. This is very much in use as I should monitor if the canister is empty  so that I can buy it again in the grocery section of the mall.  Well I just bought the other day four packs of this wooden stick cotton buds because the remaining items at home are just good until this week.

Personal Embrocation

There are many personal necessities found in my bag- wallet, cellular phone, lipstick, powder, coin purse, sunglasses, lotion and many more. But there is one that can never be miss out every time I go and this is my personal embrocation - White flower oil. This is a medicinal liquid that is truly helpful in those troubled times when I have headaches, insect bites, stomach pains, muscular pains, stiff neck and untoward feelings when I feel like sick. This oil was very much useful when I was so stress at work and in school that I felt  I was out of my physical balance already. One powerful oil that saved my day.

Snoring disturbance

I am living home with my brother and I often heard him snoring every time he sleeps. There was one time that I get annoyed with him when I sleep near him. I was not able to sleep until the morning because all that I heard was his loud snores. I often observed this in men as my father, uncle and brothers do often snores. I read that snoring is not just a nighttime annoyance but also a health issue. I have observe this with my brother when he is too tired from work and when he lacks sleep. He told me that he was at the best time of his sleep when he snored so he asked me not to wake him up even if he is snoring.

Can't help to yawn

I am so stressed out since the past weeks and while I am making this post I cant help myself to often yawn. Sometimes its quite bothering especially if I have many important things to do. I tried taking a cup of coffee because it said to be a relief for dosing off and that coffee would make you alert. But this style did not have any effect on me. It even induced me to sleep. I come to read that yawning is associated with tiredness, stress, overwork, lack of stimulation, and boredom. Yawning can also be a powerful non-verbal message with several possible meanings, depending on the circumstances. In humans, yawning has an infectious quality (i.e., seeing a person yawning, talking to someone on the phone who is yawning, or just thinking of yawning can trigger yawning) which is a typical example of positive feedback. I am thinking that I lack enough sleep this time and my body is signaling me to have a break and relax for a while.

Facial Wash Gift

Last holiday I received this facial wash as a gift from my cousin. I was happy to received it because she knew my favorites and likes. I am very particular at this time as far as female vanity is concerned. Health is wealth and good hygiene requires taking care of ones skin and face. Part of my daily regimen is cleaning my face with some natural facial wash.  This herb day cleansing foam in lemon scent is a good facial cleanser to use on the daily basis. It helps unclog pores and thoroughly cleanses the face from the daily pollutants of the environment. This is also good for any skin types. My big thanks to my ever generous cousin for this beneficial gift.

Love your Eyes

I personally take extra care for my eyes because for me they are my windows in seeing the real beauty of living in this world. My eyes are often used up especially on my class studies, reading, making post updates on computer, research and more. I promised to myself not to wear glasses until I reach the age of 40s. Luckily my sight is still as bright and sharp as ever. My personal regimen is to never ever wash eyes at night especially that it is already tired and stressed out for the entire day. When I feel that my eyes are watery and smoky I stop using it and take a rest instead. A good sleep can regain the eye stress level. I also eat lots of green leafy vegetables and always include it on my diet. When I travel under the sun I always wear protective sunglasses with UV protection. Love the eyes for they are one of the most important parts of our being.

Stomach pain by H-pylori

My brother has been in trouble with stomach pains recently and we at home were bothered because we had to attend to his sickness. A bacteria called Helicobacter pylori caused that ulcer or stomach pain. It is hard because the pain keeps on recurring every time he eat in full meal. I got to read some articles about this kind of bacteria and it states that Helicobacter pylori (H. pylori) is the bacteria responsible for most ulcers and many cases of stomach inflammation (chronic gastritis). The bacteria can weaken the protective coating of the stomach, allowing digestive juices to irritate the sensitive stomach lining. Causes, incidence, and risk factors. As many as half of the world's population is infected with H. pylori. Those living in developing countries or crowded, unsanitary conditions are most likely to contract the bacterium, which is passed from person to person. H. pylori only grows in the stomach, and is usually contracted during childhood. Interestingly, many people have this organism in their stomach, but don't get an ulcer or gastritis. Coffee drinking, smoking, and drinking alcohol increase your risk for an ulcer from H. pylori. If you have an ulcer or gastritis, you may have some of the following symptoms: Abdominal pain, Bloating and fullness, Dyspepsia or indigestion, Feeling very hungry 1 to 3 hours after eating Mild nausea (may be relieved by vomiting), Signs and tests - Simple blood, breath, and stool tests can determine if you are infected with H. pylori. If you have symptoms, your doctor will determine if you should have these screening tests. The most accurate way to diagnose H. pylori is through upper endoscopy of the esophagus, stomach, and duodenum. Because this procedure is invasive, it is generally only done on people suspected to have an ulcer, or who are at high risk for ulcers or other complications from H. pylori, such as stomach cancer. Risk factors include being over 45 or having symptoms such as: Anemia, Difficulty swallowing, Gastrointestinal bleeding, Unexplained weight loss. At this time the pain no longer occurs but the bacteria should be totally eradicated from his system.

Lavender Body Oil

My personal body oil  this time is this deep relaxing lavender. My skin is naturally sensitive and always prone to dryness. I have read that body oil is a skin care product that is generally recommended as treatment or prevention of extremely dry skin. Its main ingredients tend to be oils extracted from natural sources, such as from fruit or vegetable seeds, which give the product a smooth texture. Other common active ingredients include vitamin E and fatty acids, both of which have moisturizing properties. Using body oil as a person’s selected form of moisturizer is generally only recommended for those with extremely flaky, tight, or rough skin. These type of skin issues may not respond well to lighter, water-based moisturizing products because they may not be potent enough to fully saturate the skin‘s dryness. People with normal or oily skin will typically not be advised to use the product because its heavy texture can make their skin feel overly greasy, rather than just smooth. The oil can also clog skin pores and result in pimples for some people, even if they are not acne prone.

Bath Towel

I bought this bath towel in the nearby mall and I was happy to see another kind of towel that I can use while taking a bath everyday.A flannel, wash cloth, washcloth, or face cloth is a small square about the width of a hand towel, and is used by wetting, applying soap to the towel, and then using the towel to apply the soap to skin. This increases abrasion, and can remove dead skin cells from the skin more effectively than just manual application and rubbing of soap. In some parts of the world, washing mitts are used for this purpose. I put here my favorite bath & shower gel from Body shop and enjoy the health benefits of using bath towel daily.
